1st regional final of the "Course en Cours" competition coordinated by ESSTIN, with 300 secondary school students from Lorraine taking part.

ESSTIN is one of the 100 establishments awarded the "Cordées de la Réussite" label by the French Ministry of Higher Education for its Equal Opportunity and Social Openness initiatives.

1st symposium on Ambition Féminine and inauguration of the Amphithéâtre Emilie du Châtelet by Mme Elisabeth BADINTER.

The ESSTIN team came 1st in the "Fuel Cell" category at the Shell Eco Marathon Europe competition, and 2nd overall out of over 200 vehicles entered.

ESSTIN students' Drone Project wins prize at ONERA's International University Miniature Drone Competition.

ESSTIN celebrates its 40th anniversary at the Zénith in Nancy-Maxéville with almost 1,500 participants.

ESSTIN is taking part in the Shell Eco Marathon competition for the first time.

Construction of 4,000 m2 of new premises: buildings E and F.
1993
The Blois branch becomes the EIVL (Ecole d'Ingénieurs du Val de Loire) in Blois, which also recruits through a joint competition with ESSTIN.
1991
The Nice branch becomes ESINSA (Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Nice Sophia-Antipolis), which recruits through a joint competition with ESSTIN.
1989
Partial relocation of the Maintenance option to Blois and creation of a Communications Engineering option in Nice.
1985
ISIN becomes ESSTIN (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences et Technologies de l'Ingénieur de Nancy).
1981
The Cybernetics option is split into an Automation option and an Industrial Maintenance option.
1964
First class of ISIN Engineers with 3 graduation options (Electricity, Mechanics, Chemistry).
1963
ISIN was one of the first French schools to equip itself with a computer.
1960
Creation of ISIN (Institut des Spécialités Industrielles de Nancy), which soon becomes Institut des Sciences de l'Ingénieur de Nancy.
