M3 Minor – Maintenance and Dependability (MSS)

The MSS minor starts after the first 3 common semesters of the year in the M3 degree.

Objectives

Train engineers to plan, organize and supervise multitechnical and multiservice maintenance operations, in strict compliance with safety, hygiene and environmental protection standards. Students are also trained in the challenges of maintenance 4.0, based on data collection and analysis using artificial intelligence techniques, enabling them to move from a corrective to a predictive approach. Finally, they are able to identify and prevent the risks inherent in industrial activities, and their repercussions on people, the environment and company performance.

Specific skills

  • Manage maintenance activities within a regulatory framework
  • Master FDMS methods and tools (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety)
  • Implement an operational excellence approach
  • Deploy methods for maintenance 4.0 and risk management
