The MCL minor starts after the first 3 semesters of the M3 degree.
Objectives
To train engineers to plan, organize and operate their company’s entire Supply Chain, in a context of optimization. They are also trained to lead improvement projects and adapt production tools for goods or services, using dashboards and creativity techniques. Finally, they have the ability to analyze a company’s or department’s activity to better position it in relation to its customers and suppliers, and to recommend a framework for supplier/customer exchanges, while taking into account the impact of activities on people and the environment.
Specific skills
- Manage supply chain activities within a regulatory framework
- Master QHS (Quality, Health & Safety) methods and tools
- Implement and manage a logistics process, taking into account current industrial and environmental issues
- Act as an agent of change through Lean Management and the 6 Sigma Method (Yellow Belt certification)
Note that the Supply Chain Management (“MCL”) Engineer can obtain a joint Master’s degree in collaboration with the IAE METZ Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
